Squad & social data: contacts you invite, squads you create or join, and in-app messaging
Transaction data: purchase history, payment method details (processed by Stripe — we never store raw card numbers)

We also collect information automatically when you use the Platform:

Device identifiers (device ID, OS version, app version)
Usage data (features used, screens viewed, session duration)

Squad members: your display name and profile photo are visible to members of squads you join
Service providers: payment processors (Stripe), cloud infrastructure (Google Firebase), analytics, and email delivery — all bound by confidentiality agreements
Brand partners: aggregated, non-identifiable purchase data only (no personal details)
Law enforcement: when required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users
Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with advance notice to you

4. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing privacy@buyfrens.com. We will respond within 30 days. Some data may be retained for legal or fraud-prevention purposes.

BuyFrens is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
